The story is set around Keziah Montgomery, who is from a Confederate family, that live in Savannah Georgia. She also has epilepsy, which in that time period could cause great scandal for her family. When an old friend shows her the horrors of slavery. She becomes a conductor on the Underground Railroad. Between all of those things, she has to balance her family trying to marry her off, a noisy cousin & an impending war. This book is full of suspense & intrigue. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. And there is some love mixed in. It keeps your interest, which is always a good thing.
I received this book from Tyndale for my honest review.
