Day 4 "Battle-Scarred" of "Rise Up" from @illustratedfaith

2 Corinthians 4:7-12

"Battle-scarred but rising victorious. You are a warrior with a story to tell...allow God to write it."

As I was reading this devotion all that I could see was a war torn flag. Flags are huge symbols throughout history when it comes to battles. They were used as a point of reference in the middle of a battle so those fighting would know where their leader was. Or where to return. The white flag waved meant surrender. They were used when someone took over an area...they raised their flag to represent victory.
We all have our flag. In our own battles of life. And they are used for different things at different moments in our journey. There is no doubt that they are battle-scarred. But even greater is that they are rising victoriously!
