Auzzie

The last 2 days didn’t go as I thought. Mom called me early yesterday morning frantic, because she found Auzzie in the bottom of his cage having what she thought was a seizure. I rushed over & brought him home with me. Where I held him for close to 14 hours straight, waiting on him to take his last breath. It didn’t come until today...almost a month from his 15th birthday. Auzzie was not just a bird. He was a massive part of our family. He became the life of the mountain when he was 5 weeks old. I taught him to talk. He went on to not just talk but to know who everyone was by name. His favorite names were Kissal (Crystal) & Roc-a-row (Rocco). He said 100’s of things. He knew how to put together sentences that made sense. And when to say them. He could carry on a conversation with you. He was extremely intelligent. Exceeding so many expectations of a little fella, whose bird parents tried to kill when he was born. He was the light & laughter to our whole family. And there is no way that I can put into words how much he will be missed.
