I eventually went to sit in the car for awhile, but the temps had dropped a lot. I bundled up & walk around outside of the Grand Old Opry. D's meeting was over at 5, We went over to check in to the hotel & was in utter awe of the place! We didn't have a whole lot of time to get ready & be back at Dave & Buster's for the party. Once at the party, we got to eat, bowl & play games! We got back to the hotel & even though we were exhausted we walked around as much as we could. That place is enormous! We only got to see the atrium that we stayed in. It was sooooo cool that our room had a balcony to the atrium! I wish that we could have stayed a couple of days to see it all. We had to get up early on Wednesday to head back home.
It was such a fabulous 40th birthday! Mom said that she had wanted to plan a surprise party for me, but nothing that she would have planned could have topped this. I mean...for that trip to actually be on my birthday??? How awesome is that? Here are a bunch of photos from the trip!

Tennessee...Here we be!

Got to "meet" #dollyparton & she was singing #coatofmanycolors just for me!

From our room balcony! Off to party! And the Christmas tree parade!

Peach VIRGIN margarita, since I don't drink. But since drinks are free thought that I would try it. Tastes just like biting into a fresh peach.

Bowling!!!!

D is finally replacing my lava lamp that he broke 16 years ago with his winnings! And it's called a "Groovy Lamp!"

D's never seen the "Welcome to Alabama" rocket & actually wanted to be sure to get our pic with it!
