Land of Silence ~ Book Review

First off the cover of "Land of Silence" by Tessa Afshar is captivating! I want to stand on that hill of poppies with Elianna too. I have always been intrigued by the woman who touch the hem Jesus' garment & was healed. I often wondered about her story. When I got older, I felt a connection to her & wanted to know more. Even though this book is fiction, it does open up the possibilities of what her backstory could have been. The was Tessa tells Elianna's story is so rich & full of depth.

This is the first time I have read one of Tessa's books & I am so impressed! She brings this world to life with such detail. Which I think has a lot do with her being from the Middle East, so I think that brings a fresh look how things were done in Biblical times. Tessa now has a new fan in me. I need to read all of her books. Phenomenal!

I received a copy from Tyndale for my honest review.
