Easter 2011

 Our annual Easter photo.

We were invited several places this year to celebrate this special holiday, but D has been working so much lately, that he just wanted to stay home. And since we would be celebrating his birthday, he got to choose what we would do. So, we grilled hamburgers & hotdogs on the grill, Danny made for Mom. It was nice outside, so we sat out under the carport & visited, while we grilled & ate...Then ate some more.

Mom enjoying the first tomato of the season. Yes...She is eating it like an apple. I take mine sliced with salt & pepper please.
D's birthday cake. He wanted yellow cake with chocolate icing & that is exactly what he got. I found the sprinkles on clearance, so I "fancied" the cake up a bit. I have never said I was a cake decorator.

These candle are so fun! They are sprinkler candles, plus they will keep re-lighting. Haha! This pic is blurry, but I love how the candle photographed.
Razzy came over for a visit also. He's the only furbaby that gets to come to Nana's house when Gran-Danny is home, because he is the only one that doesn't bark at Gran-Danny.

After birthday cake & ice cream we were supposed to play dominoes, which have sort of become an Easter tradition. But everyone was too tired. D & I packed up & came home, where he napped for a bit. It was a blessed day any way you slice it.
